Not many but nice patternsJun 09, 2010 This is a nice little booklet of patterns. Like others in this series, there are not many projects, so you may want to consider a more extensive book if you want to cover a wider variety of designs, or multiple variations of a particular pattern. The term "chain" is used loosely here to include several types of bead work that can be worked in a more or less linear layout, including netting, floral, daisy, spiral, Potawatomi, lariat, double-cross and quadruple helix (I'm just reading from their titles). Not all are suitable for using with pendants, but several could be. The instructions are clear. Many other beading books look closely at various patterns, such as a helix or spiral, and then delve into the variations that can be achieved with the basic stitch. But this is a booklet, not a book! If you love looking at beading patterns you would probably enjoy this little booklet. For your $8 there are not many, but you may get inspiration for what is here. However, there are many other books out there that are more comprehensive, and this is but a small smattering.

Great All Age Entry to Seed Bead ChainsDec 23, 2008 Seed Bead Chains is easy to follow and will appeal to all ages, and both sexes. The Great directions left or right handed will make it fast work to have multiple items made and leaving you unable to wait to make the others. Great fun and everyone loves them. Something to do on those days when you're looking for a family project, some great new jewelry, or just wanting to make a few quick bucks from the extra sales they will bring in. All this for a pittance when you compare it to other books and flyers that cost more and offer less. You can't go wrong adding it to your stash, or starting it here.Seed Bead Chains (Easy-Does-It)

Love itAug 09, 2008 New to bead weaving, I needed a set of clear instructions and step by step photos to walk me through and this book delivers! Took a few tries (ok, more than a few, this is tough for me) but finally got it and it turned out great. Anxious to make another!

Great little book!Jun 09, 2008 This is just a little volume, but if you're looking for some basic beaded chains, this is it. The chains can be worn as necklaces, or lengthened to be used as straps, etc.
Many projects just assume you know how to make a beaded chain, so they don't bother including instructions for one. You're sure to find something in here that will be just perfect! It's definitely worth the price!
